One of the early members of Pivot Point, Michigan College of Beauty, was opened in the year 1965, by salon owner and hairstylist Mr. Armand Dagenais. The Michigan College of Beauty happens to be licensed through the Michigan Board of Cosmetology. The main building is free standing, and around 11,000 square feet, and was constructed in 1988, and is equipped and designed for training in manicuring, cosmetology, and esthetics. There are more classrooms (in fact 7,000 square feet more) provided within a quarter of a mile, this was built in the year 2001. Handicap accessibility is provided in both buildings. Accreditation is provided through the N.A.C.C.A.S.(National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Art & Sciences). For the individuals that qualify there is financial aid is available.
